Here’s one of the most important life lessons I’ve ever learned:
There’s never enough time to do everything but there’s always enough time to do what’s important.
My entire adult life, I’ve never had a normal schedule.
For those of you who don't know, before Treadaway Training, I was an electrical engineer.
In college, I took so many classes at a time that I graduated with one of the hardest 4-year degrees in 3 years.
I actually had to argue with my advisor to let me take that many classes at once. He told me I would flunk out of college if I tried to take that many classes.
I would go to classes for ~6 hours/day then do homework for another ~6 hours/day.
When I graduated, I went straight to work. I had a brief taste of a 40-hour work week but that grew until I was eventually working 70 hours/week.
There were some days when I went in at 6 am and left at 10 pm.
When I left engineering and started Treadaway Training, I worked 70+ hours per week. I worked 7 days/week for a couple of years.
Now that my team has grown, I've scaled back my workload to ~60 hours/week and work 6 days/week but I also have a family now.
In that same time, I have:
👉Gained 40 lbs of muscle
👉 Increased my squat from 135 lbs to 425 lbs
👉 Increased my bench press from 95 lbs to 350 lbs
👉 Increased my deadlift from 135 lbs to 535 lbs
👉 Competed in both bodybuilding and powerlifting competitions
I'm not bragging about any of that. I'm telling you what's possible even with an insane schedule.
Maybe you're reading this and thinking:
"That's cool but I don't care about any of those things. I just want to lose 20 lbs of pregnancy weight."
Or
"I just want to tone up and feel comfortable at the beach again."
Whatever the goal, the lesson is the same:
With a little bit of prioritization (and good time-saving strategies) you can achieve your fitness goals.
By the way, I'm doing a FREE virtual workshop on How to drop belly fat in 60 min/week (without Fad Diets or Grueling Workouts...From the Comfort of Your Home).
It will be Wednesday 10/19/22 at 11 am central time. I'm capping the event at 75 spots and they're almost all gone already.
If you want in, comment "I'M IN" below and I'll reach out with the details.
