Is it impossible for you to fall asleep in a dead-silent room? Do you run a fan to drown out the ringing in your ears? Do you hate traveling because you can’t bring that fan with you? As someone with Tinnitus, I feel your pain. Luckily, I have a product that may solve your problems!
I’ve been using the Etekcity White Noise Machine for about three weeks now and in this post, I will cover the features, price, pros, and cons before giving my final thoughts so that you can decide if this product will help you!

The Etekcity White Noise Machine with Bluetooth Speaker costs $29.99 on Amazon and has a coupon for an additional 10% off at the time of recording.
Features
18 sound options ranging from white noise to nature sounds
30m, 60m, 90m, 2h, and 7h auto-off timer
A battery that lasts about a week (The actual battery size isn’t listed.)
Bluetooth speaker
Microphone to take calls via Bluetooth
IPX5 water resistance (It’s safe from jets of water.)

Pros
The Etekcity White Noise Machine has a pretty long list of pros considering the price.
All 18 sounds are of high quality. I did care for some less than others, but there weren’t any sounds that I would consider to be bad.
Its small size and long battery life mean you can easily take it with you when you travel.
The music quality is surprisingly good considering the small size of the speaker (though it doesn’t do a great job handling low tones at high volumes).
The call quality is good for casual conversations. (It does have a bit of “speakerphone sound” though, so I wouldn’t recommend taking business calls on it.)
IPX5 water resistance means the speaker could be used near a pool or shower.
The orange lit clock is a “warm” color, meaning it shouldn’t mess with your circadian rhythm.
Cons
The Etekcity White Noise Machine isn’t perfect. It does have a few cons.
As I mentioned earlier, there are 30m, 60m, 90m, 2h, and 7h auto-off timer options. I would prefer to see 30m and 1 - 12h options.
If you think, “I’ll just let it run until I wake up and then turn it off myself.” Think again. If you don’t set a sleep timer, it will automatically shut off after one hour.
Etekcity, please consider a revision to this product with improved auto-off options (or at least give the option to let the machine run continuously).
There is no alarm clock functionality, which is very disappointing considering it already has a clock.
Since it is a battery powered device, it is meant to be charged, then ran off of the battery. If you leave the device plugged in constantly, it will reduce the lifespan of the battery over time.
Final Thoughts
Should you buy the Etekcity White Noise Machine? Do you already have an alarm clock? If so, Etekcity’s white noise machine is a great option. Keep in mind, it does have the Bluetooth speaker option, which most white noise machines don’t have. If you do need an alarm clock, You’ll need to search for another option.
Personally, I like this product and am going to continue using it even though I’m finished reviewing it (which typically doesn’t happen after I review something).
